The modern, newly built guesthouse Petko is located in attractive surroundings in the High Tatras. The guesthouse fulfils all the criteria of European standards.

Agreeable and comfortable accommodation will surely satisfy you. The guest house Petko offers 7 cozy, well equipped rooms: 1 double room, 4 triple rooms, and 2 4-bed rooms. Each room has en suite facilities (WC and shower), TV-SAT-Receiver and refrigerator. The total capacity of the guesthouse is 22 beds. In addition to this, guests may also make use of a dinning room and kitchen.

The location of the guesthouse is suited for those wishing to spend an active vacation, be it summer or winter. It is ideal for family holidays in the fresh mountain air. After a days skiing or hiking you can relax in a nearby pub, which also offers a wide assortment of Slovak cuisine. 100 metres from the guesthouse there is a bus and rail stop called Pod Lesom, or "Under the Forest", which serves a commuter train between Poprad - Starý Smokovec - Štrbské Pleso. In Starý Smokovec you can change trainsfor Tatranská Lomnica. Between Poprad and Štrbské Pleso there are numerous ski lifts and winter sport centres for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The following are the most famous centres: Štrbské Pleso, Smokovce, Tatranská Lomnica, Ždiar and more.The ski runs range from those suital to winter sports professionals to the many lifts suitable for beginners. The nearest lift is Konrička which is 400 metres long and covered with artificial snow throughout the wholewinter.

A vacation in our guesthouse affords you the opportunity to regenerate your lungs. The surroundings offer a rich choice of tourist trips in the Tatra valleys and peaks, as well as historical and cultural sightseeing such as theSlovak Paradise Nation Park with its many beautiful waterfalls. Also of interest, and of close proximity, is theDobšinská Ice Cave or the Pieniny National Park. You can alleviate problems of the respiratory system with a stroll around SP or you can hike to the Studenovodský waterfall. You can take a lift to Hrebienok, štrbské pleso or Lomnický štít. You can utilize the services of a mountain guide for more difficult hiking trips. And finally, the nearby cities of Kežmarok and Levoča, Spiš castle and all the other pearls of Slovak history should not be ignored.
